 Tulip that I found on a walk with babysitting charges near work.  P, the 3 year-old, was quick to point out the fact that it's not open yet.  Just in case you were wondering.

 License plates are one of my favorite forms of short expression.  And I also found out I like Instagram.

You probably can't tell, but that's a crescent moon in the center, with (I think) the North Star to the...well, you can figure out which direction.

It was kind of a lazy day (even my dog and the cousin dog thought so).  Maybe it's in preparation for my super busy week next week.

Took this driving to work through my driver's side window (don't worry, I was stopped at a stop sign).  It was thundering like crazy, the sky was black to the north, and sun was just shining away, like nothing was happening.  Oh Mother Nature, you are one temperamental creature.
And for those of you keeping track, I will try and post another photo later today so that I am able to keep up with one a day.

My sister, in front of her first brand-new car at the dealer.  Note the tense smile, indicating excitement for awesome features, like SYNC, air conditioning, and a sunroof, and trepidation and dread for the payments that will follow.

My favorite Milwaukee brewery, Lakefront Brewery, is now available at my favorite Berwyn Pub, James Joyce!  Oh happy day!  Now if only they get Wheat Monkey....

Went to Molly Malone's in Forest Park for dinner and drinks.  If you ever go, ask for Ashley.  She's a great server who knows her stuff!

I've passed this storm drain countless times and never noticed the happy fish, or the ecologically-friendly warning.  Saw it for the first time today as I was walking to my car, and I did a double take.

As my dad ALWAYS says, "We only have one earth!"

This isn't an original thought -- stole it from a close friend of mine.  She is taking at least one picture a day, then posting one on FB.  I decided to try out a blog.  No judgements.  Let's see how many days I can keep this up.

The crocuses started coming up at the end of February...they are in full force now all over the front and side of the house.
